Thank you Marty for the great walleye fishing trips. Over the years, I have had the privilege to fish with several professional fishermen and guides, and you are up there with the best of them. I look forward to fishing in your new tiller Warrior this year! -Dennis, Pierre, South Dakota | |

Equipment:
You'll be fishing out of a 20'5" fiberglass Warrior boat, powered by a 135 hp Mercury Optimax motor. I have been fishing with Warrior boats and Mercury motors for the past 10 years and have complete confidence in them. The boat is equipped with 2 Minn Kota trolling motors, one on the transom and one on the bow. The electronics are Lowrance, one for viewing underwater and the other is a GPS mapping unit.
Rods and reels are all in great working condition. For casting and jigging you will be using spinning equipment and for trolling livebait, baitcasting equipment will be utilized. Trolling crankbaits requires linecounter reels, spooled with different lines, dependent on the application. I have linecounter reels spooled with monofilament line, fireline, and leadcore line. So, whatever the technique we will be using, the rods and reels are ready.
